## A place, a group and a date

An offering describes what someone can enrol in, including eligibility, capacity and terms. A group organises participants and teaching responsibility. A session is a dated occurrence with a roster and attendance.

An application expresses interest or supplies intake information. Enrolment/placement confirms the resulting relationship. A waitlist keeps interest while capacity is unavailable. A time-limited offer gives a family a defined opportunity to accept a place.

## Credits have their own purpose

A package account provides configured commerce credits. A make-up credit follows an absence/attendance policy and eligible replacement sessions. Neither bypasses capacity or creates a universal right to attend any class.

This separation lets staff review the right decision: who is eligible, who has a confirmed place, what has been paid and who actually attended. Check those states individually when investigating a family question.
